Amplify

Amplify is an Indigenous-led research project advancing health equity and gender justice for Indigenous women, Two-Spirit, Indigiqueer, and gender-diverse peoples. Grounded in Indigenous knowledge and IGBA+, it uplifts Indigenous voices to transform health systems through culturally safe, rights-based care and community-led solutions.

IMPACT: Investing in Matriarchal Power, Access, Care, and Traditional wellness

IMPACT is an Indigenous-led research project focused on transforming Indigenous women’s health and menopause care. By centring Matriarchal wisdom, Indigenous knowledge, and traditional wellness, the project addresses gaps in culturally safe care and supports community-led approaches to women’s health and well-being.

OCEAN: Ovarian Cancer Equity, Access, & Navigation

The OCEAN project explores how ovarian cancer prevention can be delivered in equitable, culturally safe ways for Indigenous women. Guided by Two-Eyed Seeing, it brings Indigenous and Western expertise together to support informed choice, address systemic barriers, and develop respectful, consent-based prevention pathways.

The STEM Project is an Indigenous-led initiative exploring respectful, culturally safe conversations about genetics-informed mental health care with Indigenous Peoples in BC. By centring data sovereignty, community leadership, and trust, it lays the groundwork for future approaches guided by Indigenous priorities.

WHY Collective

The WHY Collective is an Indigenous-led project that works alongside Indigenous youth to define health and wellness on their own terms. Through culturally grounded gatherings, youth co-create indicators of well-being that reflect cultural, relational, emotional, and community priorities, while contributing to global Indigenous youth leadership and health equity.

We hold deep respect for the teachings entrusted to us. The resources we share are guided by values of respect, reciprocity, accountability, and cultural safety. Some knowledge is meant for open sharing, while other teachings remain protected within communities. We honour both.
